Before falling into the world of Sleep Consultancy, I was previously a Business Bank Manager for over 10 years.
It all started when I had my first child, Amara (who has just turned 7 years old). She wasn’t sleeping properly and I was struggling to maintain a consistent routine.
About 5 years ago, whilst scrolling endlessly through Google after typing in ‘how to get your child to sleep’, I came across a company based in the United States (back then, sleep consultancy was not so popular in the UK). I found a course for about £50 by a sleep expert. I took 2 weeks off of work to commit to the course and it wasn’t long until I had completed it.
At last! My bubbly, happy baby was back again. She was sleeping so well, I just had to tell my friends and family about the life-changing course I had just came across.
Not long after I was pregnant with my second, Alaina. Funnily enough, she too fell into the same routine of not sleeping very well, not adapting to routines and becoming restless during the night. Once again, I took on another sleeping course – this one was by the Sleep Nanny Academy. I had officially became certified as a Sleep Consultant.
7 months later, I was pregnant with my third child (Aneya). Whilst on maternity leave, I started up a Facebook group to explore sleep consultancy, I wanted to help new mums with my new found knowledge! I managed to onboard a couple of clients and my business was going well.
Whilst pregnant with Aneya, I was able to put my qualification to good use. Amara was sleeping throughout the night by now, I was sleep training my second and it was only now a couple of months before I could begin training on Aneya.
March 2020 came around, Aneya had just turned 1 years old and we were struck by the pandemic. Lockdown had started so I decided to take a short career break before diving head first back into the business.
A couple of months later, I started to upload more and more helpful content to Instagram. My aim was to help mums who were struggling during the lockdown. With schools shutting across the UK, parents had to battle with both bedtime and homeschooling issues.
Fast-forward to January 2021, I run my business full-time whilst looking after my three beautiful girls at home. I help parents on a daily basis with helpful tips and advice shared through my Instagram. I have also launched a couple of packages that have been very popular.

Jay has been a miracle worker! She has taken us from co-sleeping and being held or rocked to sleep for naps, to sleeping in his cot and getting himself to sleep.
